The Purpose
Every Pet Portrait with a Purpose directly supports animal welfare. A portion of each sale is donated to Pope Memorial Humane Society, helping animals in need find loving homes, receive medical care, and live safer, healthier lives.
This project is my way of combining creativity with compassion, honoring the pets we love while giving back to those still waiting for their chance.
The Why
Hi, I’m Michaela! I adopted my first dog when I was 21, and a few years later, we rescued another — that’s when I learned there’s no love quite like the unconditional kind you get from a pet. Animals have always made me feel more whole, more seen, more me.
Today, I share my home with four incredible dogs, three of them foster fails who never left because they stole my heart. I’ve always been an artist at heart, and painting pets lets me combine what I love most: creating meaningful art and honoring the deep bond we share with the animals we love.
Pet Portraits with a Purpose is my way of giving back, celebrating your beloved companions while helping more animals find their forever homes. My pets have saved me in more ways than I can count, and this project is a love letter to them... and to yours.

Final Touches & Payment
Once it’s complete, I’ll send your final portrait. The remaining balance is due before delivery.
